Enrico Peiretti is currently working as Assistant Professor and Head at the Medical Retina Service, Eye Clinic, University of Cagliari. He has completed his M.D. in Ophthalmology from same University. He is also working on many research projects as principal investigator and co-investigator. He is member of Societa Oftalmologica Italiana, American Academy Ophtalmology, Societe Francaise de Ophtalmologistes, and Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmologys, and American Society of Retina Specialists. He is expert in Cataract Surgery (more than 3000 operations), expert in small Gauge VR surgery (more than 700 operations) and good experience in Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery and Lachrymal system expert for laser treatments in Anterior and Posterior Segment of the eye. He has more than more than 10 years expertise in Medical Retina internationally recognized and affiliated with different research group’s worldwide good experience in clinical trials and author of many papers and research projects, teacher at the University for Residents in Ophthalmology and full trained Vitreous-Retina Surgeon. He has published 31 research articles in international scientific journals contributed as author/co-author.
